Let's Reset

Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Blue Chalk Pty Ltd for using Let's Reset — written in plain language.

Effective September 9, 2026

Please read these Terms carefully. They cover your use of the Let's Reset mobile app and the Let's Reset website (together, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Let's Reset is owned and operated by Blue Chalk Pty Ltd, an Australian company.

We’ve written these Terms in plain language, the same as our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

What Let’s Reset is

Let's Reset is a mood-based wellbeing and motivation app. You tell it how you are feeling, and it gives you original written and spoken content chosen for that moment — a Quick Reset, an Affirmation, a Pep Talk, a Mini Exercise, a Voice Journey, a Deeper Reflection, or a Meditation.

It is a source of supportive content. It is not therapy, and it is not a healthcare service.

Not medical or crisis care

This is the most important section in these Terms.

Let's Reset provides general wellbeing and motivational content for personal use. It does not provide medical advice, psychological or psychiatric treatment, diagnosis, therapy, counselling, or crisis intervention, and it is not a substitute for professional care.

  • Nothing in the Service should be relied on as a reason to seek, delay, ignore, or discontinue professional medical or mental-health advice or treatment.
  • No therapist–client, doctor–patient, or other professional relationship is created by using the Service.
  • The content is general and is not tailored to your individual circumstances, history, or clinical needs.

If you are in crisis, or you are thinking about harming yourself or someone else, stop using the app and get help immediately. Contact your local emergency number, go to your nearest emergency department, or contact a crisis line in your country. In the US you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). In the UK and Ireland you can call Samaritans on 116 123. Do not use Let's Reset as a substitute for emergency help.

You use the Service at your own discretion and are responsible for deciding whether it is appropriate for you.

Who may use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, whichever is higher. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

By using the Service you confirm you meet these requirements, and that you are not barred from using it under any applicable law.

Your licence to use the Service

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service and its content for your own private, non-commercial wellbeing, on devices you own or control, in line with these Terms and any applicable app-store rules.

This is a licence to use, not a sale. No ownership passes to you.

Our content, and what you may not do with it

All content in the Service — every written word, every audio recording and narration, the scripts, artwork, design, branding, and the Let's Reset name — is original, proprietary work owned by or licensed to Blue Chalk Pty Ltd. All rights are reserved.

The recordings are the heart of this Service. You may not:

  • Copy, download, capture, screen-record, rip, or otherwise make a persistent copy of any audio or text, beyond the temporary caching the app performs to play it;
  • Reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, share, sell, licence, rent, or otherwise make the content available to anyone else;
  • Modify, adapt, translate, remix, or create derivative works from the content;
  • Perform or play the content publicly, or use it in any commercial, group, therapeutic, educational, or organisational setting;
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or ownership notice;
  • Attempt to access content you have not paid for, or circumvent, disable, or interfere with any access control, paywall, entitlement check, or other protective measure;
  • Decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble any part of the Service, or use scrapers, bots, automated tools, or any non-official client to access, extract, enumerate, or bulk-download content or data;
  • Use the Service or its content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine learning or artificial intelligence system.

These restrictions survive any termination of your access. Unauthorised use of the content may be a breach of copyright and other laws, and we reserve every remedy available to us.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure, probe or test its security, gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or data, or impersonate anyone. You also agree not to misuse any contact or support channel, including sending abusive, harassing, or deliberately false messages.

Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Some of Let's Reset is free. A Premium subscription unlocks the full session — Pep Talk, Mini Exercise, Voice Journey, Deeper Reflection and Meditation. The free experience includes Quick Reset and Affirmations.

How billing works. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device. Current pricing and subscription length are shown in the app before you confirm, and payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.

Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, and your account is charged within 24 hours before the period ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal continues until you cancel.

How to cancel. Manage or cancel your subscription in your device’s account settings — App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Google Play: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions. You can also open Manage Subscription in the app. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Free trials and offers. If a free trial or introductory offer is provided, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Offers may be limited to new subscribers and may be changed or withdrawn.

Price changes. We may change subscription pricing. Changes take effect at the next renewal and only after any notice the app stores require, so you always have the chance to cancel first.

Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, not by us, so refunds are handled under their policies — we cannot issue them directly. Contact Apple Support or Google Play Support to request one. Where you have a statutory right to a refund or to cancel under your local consumer law, that right is not affected by anything in these Terms.

Restoring a purchase. Use Restore in the app to recover an existing subscription on the same store account. Entitlement is tied to your store account and to the device identifier described in our Privacy Policy, so a subscription may not carry across a different store account or platform.

Availability, internet and changes to the Service

Session content is streamed, so the Service needs an active internet connection to work. You are responsible for your own device, connectivity, and any data charges.

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features and content at any time, and we may release updates. We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may carry out maintenance without notice.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app — remember to cancel any subscription separately (Section 7).

We may suspend or end your access, immediately and without refund, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, in particular the content restrictions in Section 5 or the acceptable-use rules in Section 6, or where we must do so to comply with the law or protect the Service or other users.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that it will be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content will produce any particular result, outcome, or improvement in your wellbeing.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you, and you may have rights under local consumer law that these Terms do not affect.

Australian Consumer Law

If you are a consumer in Australia, our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees, and to the extent any provision of these Terms would do so, that provision does not apply to you.

For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion.

Where the Australian Consumer Law permits us to limit our liability for failing to comply with a consumer guarantee — other than the guarantees in sections 51 to 53 of that law — our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having them resupplied.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if we have been advised such losses were possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50.

If you are a consumer in Australia, the limits in this section apply only so far as the Australian Consumer Law allows, and are subject to the Australian Consumer Law paragraphs in Section 10.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blue Chalk Pty Ltd from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right — in particular any unauthorised copying or distribution of the content under Section 5.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties to work, including the Apple App Store and Google Play for distribution and payment, and the cloud and subscription providers named in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.

Apple App Store — additional terms

These terms apply if you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, and Apple requires them:

  • These Terms are between you and Blue Chalk Pty Ltd only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
  • Your licence is limited to using the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app. Support requests should go to the contact address in Section 18.
  • If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation in respect of the app.
  • Blue Chalk Pty Ltd, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app — including product liability, failure to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection or similar law.
  • Blue Chalk Pty Ltd, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights.
  • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting”, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the app.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them against you.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date at the top of this page, and we will highlight significant changes where appropriate. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, or of the right to bring proceedings there.

General

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in force and the unenforceable provision applies to the maximum extent permitted. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the Service. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
